This is a nice little park with a good, modern playground for the kids, and if you go back towards the fields there's a cool little dock for fishing, and a little community garden where people grow vegetables and plants. They also have covered basketball courts and some tennis courts. However, it loses a star because the baseball field is gone, as are the soccer fields because there are gopher tortoise burrows everywhere and they are a protected species. That's nobody's fault and we should protect endangered species if we can, but nonetheless it impacts the park.
Great place for kids to play on playground. Also every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month is All Faiths Food Bank.
Best Sunset View in the Nokomis area, if you walk to the back of the park where the Legacy Trail Bridge is. We love this park nice playground huge fields and also you can fish here
Great Park with some shade, kayak launch site, indoor facility, playground, and Fitness trail, but a lot of homeless people hanging out and camping in the area. All picnic tables were taken up by homeless or vagrants.
Nice kids area, nice community events at the center, wish the bathrooms would stay open later
